Position Summary

Glenn supports the election of judges as written in the Minnesota Constitution and opposes any proposals to eliminate or limit these elections.

Justice Antonin Scalia famously said that there are two kinds of judges: Originalists who interpret the Constitution as the Framers intended and the others, who just “make stuff up!” Minnesota’s liberal judges are in the second category!

Thankfully, Minnesotans have a tool to correct this problem that the national leaders do not have, the ability to elect judges. Article 6, section 7, in the Minnesota Constitution gives the right to replace liberal judges, who are in the habit of "making things up".
